SkillsFit Free Trial

This offer (the “Offer”), which is made to you by iTask (as defined in the iTask Terms and Conditions of Use) with additional SkillsFit feature (receive alerts and gain access to a list of posted tasks that match your skills), for a period of thirty (30) days from the moment that you activate such trial period by submitting your payment details (the “Free Trial Period”).

By submitting your skills updates, (i) you accept the Offer, (ii) consent to fill in your personal and skills details in accordance with our Privacy Policy, (iii) acknowledge and agree to iTask Terms and Conditions of Use and these Offer Terms and Conditions.

You may only use this Offer once. If you have subscribed to the SkillsFit feature or have taken a trial offer previously, you are ineligible for this Offer. The features may not be available on certain personal devices. 

At the end of the thirty days period, you will no longer have access to any data you made using the SkillsFit feature will be lost unless you subscribe to SkillsFit feature prior to the expiration of the Trial period. iTask may terminate the Trial at any time by giving written notice to you. iTask reserves the right to make any modifications to the Features.

A limited number of Offers are available, while supplies last. This Offer expires and must be redeemed before the date advertised. iTask reserves the right to earlier terminate this Offer at any time and for any reason. After such time of termination, iTask shall not be obligated to redeem any further Offers.

Provisions For Subscription Plans

1. Scope and use of the subscription

The subscription grants the Users/Taskers the right to use SkillsFit feature (“the Feature”). The subscription may not be used by other people or organizations.

SkillsFit feature shall refer to a plan which a user has subscribed to use the SkillsFit Feature for an initial period of first month to pay for your subscription and thereafter such plan shall be automatically renewed for successive periods of one (1) month each unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the provisions herein.

2. Acceptance of the subscription

By submitting your skills updates and payment details, (i) you accept the Offer, (ii) consent to fill in your personal and skills details in accordance with our Privacy Policy, (iii) acknowledge and agree to iTask Terms and Conditions of Use and these Offer Terms and Conditions.

3. Price and payment terms

3.1 The User shall pay the Subscription Fees to the iTask for the SkillsFit Feature Subscriptions:

  • Monthly in advance, payable on the same day of each month of the Initial Subscription Term (i.e. if the Initial Subscription Term started on 5th January the Subscription fees would be due on the 5th of each month thereafter). Where the payment date cannot be the same day of a month it shall be the nearest day before (i.e. if the payment date is 31st of March then the next payment would be due on 30th April).
  • The user shall pay the Subscription Fees by debit or credit card through iTask platform. iTask uses the third party payment processor Stripe (https://stripe.com/gb) to process card payments which does not store or process any card details on its own servers. Stripe will store the card details used to pay the Subscription Fees and will use those same card details to automatically take payment for any Subscription Fees in respect of each Renewal Period.

3.2 All amounts and fees stated or referred to in this agreement:

  • shall be payable in Singapore Dollars and non-refundable;

3.3 iTask shall be entitled to increase the Subscription Fees at the start of each Renewal Period upon 30 days’ prior notice to the Users.

4. Duration and termination of the subscription

If you decide that you do not want to become a paying user of the SkillsFit Feature, you have to cancel your subscription by logging into your account and following the cancellation instructions prior to the end of your subscription period. Otherwise, at the end of your subscription period, you will automatically continue become a paying user of the SkillsFit Feature, and the credit card you provided will automatically be charged the current SkillsFit subscription fee each month, until you cancel your SkillsFit Feature subscription.

5. Non-refundable fees

There are no refunds or credits for partial monthly subscriptions. If ITask increases the monthly fee in the future, we will provide you notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. By continuing to use the SkillsFit Feature after the price change takes effect, you accept the new price.

6. Fair use behaviour

If iTask becomes aware or strongly believe that you are in violation of the SkillsFit T&Cs, e.g. for cases where we believe that you are sharing your account with others, in order to allow them to make use of your SkillsFit subscription, iTask may in its sole discretion immediately terminate your SkillsFit subscription.

7. Maintenance of the System

ITask is entitled to make operational changes to the System for improvements or otherwise (for example by developing or updating software) without giving the User prior notice. In some circumstances, it may be necessary to suspend access to the eature. Notice of such a suspension will be given to the User in advance. ITask will not be responsible for any consequences of such a suspension where notice has been given.

8. Data Processing Agreement, privacy policy and Confidentiality

ITask has taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent information saved by the Feature from being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost or wasted and to prevent such information from falling into the hands of any unauthorized party, being misused or otherwise treated in a way contrary ITask’s privacy policy.

9. Marketing

ITask shall be entitled to refer to the User and the Features provided in its marketing, including a brief description of such feature.

10. System changes and feature updates

iTask informs its users on the iTask platform about system changes, feature updates, and other news by e-mail. Therefore, all registered users on the SkillsFit Feature accept that they are added to the newsletter mailing list. iTask reserves the right to amend any part or the whole SkillsFit Feature at any time at its sole discretion.

ITask will not be responsible for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims of the User or any third party resulting from the suspension of the Features.
